The base of the pillar is rectangular to a height of 72 cm, with four niches containing images which may be avatāras of Viṣṇu (see in #Banerji_Adris_1945:6 for descriptions). The next section, 14 cm high, is octagonal, and the next, 12 cm high, is sixteen-sided. The next 14 cm is circular and seems to be a pūrṇaghaṭa, described as a "base with foliage" in #Banerji_Adris_1945:5.
