  1. The inscription is on the pedestal, for which no size data are available.

An image of the Buddha standing on a lotus. The proper left side (about one third) of the pedestal seems to have been lost in antiquity and replaced with a piece of halo from an earlier Buddha image on which the text was re-inscribed. This piece (%O-0038b) was found separately, some distance away from the image, and has now been refitted.

Inscriptions
  1. The inscription is on the pedestal. Dimensions and letter size is from Bhandarkar_1981, but note that 3 lines in letters 3.8 cm in height cannot possibly fit in an area 7 cm tall. Probably the letters are 1/2 rather than 1 1/2 inch high.

A stone slab that has been re-cut, leaving the top and bottom intact, but removing the (viewer's) right-hand side and possibly part of the left-hand side as well. There are also two round holes drilled into the surface at about half-height and 1/4 and 3/4 of the width.

Inscriptions
  1. The inscription of 16 lines covers the entire extant surface. The (viewer's) right-hand side, and perhaps a thinner slice of the left-hand side as well, have been cut away, resulting in the destruction of at least 18 characters per line.
