Nalanda Clay Seal of Avantivarman

A seal impression in clay, probably baked. It is broken roughly in half along the vertical diameter; the right half is broken again and the upper two thirds of this half are lost. Dimensions not reported. Of the Maukhari emblem in the upper part (about one third of the total height), the head and neck of the bull and the whole of the man leading it survive; the rest is lost. The device is separated from the text by a double horizontal line, turning upwards at 45° at the two ends.
