Bhumara Stone Pillar

Locals call this pillar thāḍī-patthar, "standing stone". The lower part is rectangular (apparently oblong), while the upper part is octagonal. Its height is not reported. The inscription is on one face of the lower part.

History details
The pillar was found (and presumably still remains) in the lands belonging to the village of Bhumarā. The place is about 14.5 km to the northwest of Uchaharā according to Fleet, and 19 km to the west of Uchaharā according to Cunningham, who calls it Bhubhara. It may be the settlment known to Google Maps as Bhummra, at 24.445367, 80.690854.
