History details
Discovered in 1930 near an old well while excavating a tank at Baigrām, Bogra (Baguṛā) district, Rājśāhi Division, Bengal (now Bangladesh). Another copper plate, found with it, was taken away by the coolies and presumably never recovered (but, according to #Sircar_1943a:12 this may have been the Kalaikuri-Sultanpur plate, %O-0067).
