History details
Discovered in 1927-28 during the excavation of Monastery site 1 at Nālandā along with %O-0044, %O-0046, %O-0047, %O-0048, %O-0049 and %O-0052. All these seals are clay impressions that seem to have been baked accidentally in a monastery fire.
