Kaulesvari Hill Rock of Visnugupta

This is "a rugged boulder, parts of which have broken away" (#Sircar_1953-54a:84). No further details are reported. It is on Kauleśvarī Hill (24.374768, 84.864330, recorded on Google Maps as Kolua Pahar, probably a typo for Koula), about 8.5 km from Hunterganj in present-day Jharkhand. The exact location of the inscribed boulder is not reported.

History details
The existence of the inscription (along with others) was reported to Sircar in the early 1930s. In February 1954 he visited the site, Kauleśvarī Hill (24.374768, 84.864330, recorded on Google Maps as Kolua Pahar, probably a typo for Koula), about 8.5 km from Hunterganj in present-day Jharkhand. The exact location of the inscribed boulder is not reported. Sircar says he copied the inscription, but does not publish a facsimile.
