<p>The inscribed rock is on the left side of the equestrian path from Siroli village (Chamoli Tehsil, Uttarakhand; 30.477660, 79.285180) to the temple of Anasūyā Devī, about 1.6 km from the temple. It was visited by G. S. Gai in 1966, after being notified of the existence of the inscription earlier that year.</p>
